MTA Announces Search for New Chief Financial Officer
Palmer, Alaska – April 2, 2026 – MTA, Alaska's tech and telecom leader, is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team, following the retirement announcement of MTA’s current CFO, Laurie Browning. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping MTA’s financial future, and the future of connectivity across Alaska. The incoming executive will work alongside the CEO and Board of Directors to drive long-term financial performance, guide major capital investments, and help steer MTA through a rapidly evolving broadband landscape. Responsibilities will span financial planning, forecasting, reporting, treasury, risk management, and regulatory compliance, as well as building and mentoring a high-performing finance team.
