MTA is Alaska’s leading technology company invested in promoting the expansion of esports throughout the Last Frontier.

Our third annual eUnlimited™ gaming tournament was the biggest yet!

More than 400 gamers registered for brackets and nearly $30k was raised for the MTA Foundation during our 2019 gaming tournament. All of that money will go back to our community in the form of scholarships, grants and donations that help foster the growth of technology in Alaska. Thanks to all who came out this year – stay tuned because we plan to go even bigger for year four! Check out our recap below:

Thank You To Our

2019 Sponsors

Over the last several years, Alaska has become an emerging hub for esports. MTA has played a major proactive role in this rise, with our eUnlimited™ gaming collaboration between local businesses, Alaska schools and the gaming community. These collaborations include:

  • Our annual eUnlimited™ gaming tournament is Alaska’s largest esports event, drawing gamers and spectators from across the state and even the lower 48.
  • Our support of the Mast-Su Borough School District Rocket League teams includes consultive resources and hosting the official MSBSD tournament.
  • MTA Coding Academy at Wasilla Middle School gives students a chance to cultivate their passions for gaming and technology while simultaneously increasing skills.

These efforts are led by the MTA Foundation, which provides scholarship opportunities and technology grants to our local community.

“MTA is proud to lead Alaska’s growth in the esports world and look forward to the connections between education and technology that eUnlimited™ will continue to develop.”
Michael Burke, CEO of MTA.
