Valorant Open Season
After exploring a Valorant off season exhibition tournament, we are happy to announce Valorant is joining the lineup of titles available to play this season. The gaming community in Alaska showed up strong, and we want to keep feeding that fire. This season of the only Alaskan Valorant League will surely be a great time.
The MTA Esports League takes place each night of the week from Oct 3, 2022 with seven full weeks of competitive gaming action. Each night features match nights for one of the five great game titles chosen.

- Week 5 – Week of Oct 31, 2022 (7:45 pm meet in Discord)

Tuesdays’ Valorant – 7:45 pm Check-in on Discord
Teams will be matched up at the beginning of each league night by league managers based on;
- What teams check-in on the MTA Discord
- Team standing on the points board. (Each week teams are seeded against similarly matched teams based on overall standings in the MTA league.)
- The first week match seeding is done at random
At the end of each nights 2 rounds best of 1 series, in the Regular Season, Teams in each series are ranked by Round Score and are awarded points toward their Regular Season standings as follows:
- 12 rounds, two each league night.
- Each round is a best of 1 matches against one team.
- Winners are seeded into a bracket each week based on current standings in the format that attempts to match based on previous wins.
- The top 6 teams after 6 rounds progress to finals brackets.
- Winning a round awards 1 point, losing rewards 0 points.
- All characters are available to play
- Map picks will be determined in an alternating pick between matched teams. The highest seeded team will pick the map for the first match, then the second team will pick the match for the second match. This process repeated each match for each round.
