Hearthstone Open Season
Hearthstone is a new title for the MTA Esports League, and is the only single player game in the league (for now). We are excited to see the reach Hearthstone offers for the Alaskan gamer that prefers high end strategy over fast paced action. We look forward to watching all the incredible matches to come.
The MTA Esports League takes place each night of the week from Oct 3, 2022 with seven full weeks of competitive gaming action. Each night features match nights for one of the five great game titles chosen.

Wednesday Hearthstone – 7:45 pm Check-in on Discord
Hearthstone is one of the newest titles in the line up this season, and we are pleased to announce it as one of the titles to compete in. To make this a fun and inviting competition that even the newest players to the most advanced and experienced players can enjoy we have come up with a few guidelines for matchmaking.
- All players are limited to “Basic” decks. This means no expansion decks, or no “purchased” cards will be allowed in player deck builds.
- Utilizing the “Basic” deck building functions and matchmaking within the game, players will “duel” each other via the battle.net friends list.
- Each league night, players will compete in a best of 3 duel-off.
- Each player is scored 1 point per win
- Each win is added up for a league total and standing.
At the start of each league night, matchups will be announced to the check-in player base in the MTA Discord.
