Welcome to the MTA Esports League Apex Legends open season. This is a simple placement point, with elimination (kills) points per match system that will accumulate over each week of the open season.
Placement Points
Once all players have checked in, all teams have 2 hours to accomplish their best three matches in public trios lobbies. This is a “Kill Race” format. Screenshots of the best three games must be uploaded using the Weekly form, by team captains, as proof of completion. Each game is scored with the formula below, all three games are then tallied, and this total is uploaded and posted as your match results.
1st | 12 |
2nd | 9 |
3rd | 7 |
4th | 5 |
5th | 4 |
6th – 7th | 3 |
8th – 10th | 2 |
11th – 15th | 1 |
16th – 20th | 0 |
Kills | 1 For each kill (Max 12 points) |
Points will accumulate each week through the 6-week league.
If a Team misses a match (no Competitors from the Team competed in the match), then the Team receives a Match Score of zero (0) for that match. At the end of each round or match series, a Team’s total points will include the Team’s Match Scores for all matches in that round or match series (“Round Score”).
All matches must be completed during open league play, during the outlined league schedule.
