|Redundant Fiber Lines|
|Point of Presence (PoP)|
Internet usage increases exponentially year after year, necessitating more bandwidth and putting a strain on local network infrastructure. In fact, many providers servicing Alaska lack true redundancy. Even with the redundant undersea cables, there still isn’t true geographic diversity.
Alaska hasn’t had any options for a more robust network in decades, and we shouldn’t be relying on the undersea cables — that’s why we built Alaska’s first and only all-terrestrial fiber network to help provide true redundancy and diversity across the state.
