Sponsorship And Donations

As a member-owned cooperative, MTA believes in supporting the communities we serve by providing sponsorship and donations to various organizations. We support youth participation, community spirit, cooperation, and education.

Sponsorship is not considered for travel or travel-related expenses; individuals; organizations based outside of Alaska; organizations of primarily religious or political focus including ballot initiatives and elections; and organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, color, national origin, religion, or creed.

To request sponsorship for your tax exempt, nonprofit organization, please contact us several months in advance, with the following information:

• A brief description of the organization, a contact name and number.
• A description of the event and its benefits to the community.
• The amount requested from MTA and how the funds would be used.
• Explain how your organization plans to recognize MTA as a sponsor.
• Let us know if MTA has helped your organization in the past.
