When purchased more than twelve months prior, MTA recommends simply replacing a broken mobile phone. In addition to our usual selection of great new phones (to pair with a service agreement), we offer remanufactured phones* (that require no agreement). Any remaining months from a previous agreement will carry over.

A liquid-damaged, excessively worn, or missing mobile phone – even if it’s recently purchased – will not be covered by manufacturer warranty. In this case, it will need to be replaced with a new phone (and agreement) or a remanufactured phone (with no agreement). Any remaining months from a previous agreement will carry over. Remanufactured phones are top quality. Among all categories of used mobile phones, “remanufactured” ranks highest.

Refurbished – cleaned, brightened or freshened up.
Reconditioned – restored to good condition (by replacing parts).
Remanufactured – rebuilt, using the best replacement parts.
