Wire Maintenance
Covers the costs of repair/replacement of faulty or damaged inside wire and jacks, materials included. Wire Maintenance service will provide up to two trips monthly (effective immediately upon sign up). It does not include troubles caused by customer equipment, replacement of customer equipment, receiver off hook, animal chews, and/or rewiring of existing jacks. Multi-line businesses with key or PBX systems or commercial building locations are not eligible for Wire Maintenance.

Lifeline or Afford-A-Phone
MTA participates in national Lifeline Across America programs that provide discounts to income-eligible individuals for the initial installation costs of phone service and monthly bills. To sign up, just print and complete the following application and bring it to an MTA store.
