How To Change Your
DTV Theme/Menus

When the menu bar is located across the top of the screen (as shown here) you're using DTV's classic or "Blue" Theme. |

To get to the Swirl Theme, use the Preferences tab in the Settings menu. Arrow to Theme and highlight the box below where it says "English - Blue." Once highlighted press the remote's OK button to toggle to the "English - Swirl." option. Arrow to Submit and press OK on your remote. |

You will be asked to Save changes. If you select No, you will remain on the current screen. Select Yes. |

A message will say "A resource change has been detected which requires a reboot. Select (OK) to reboot now, otherwise the box will reboot shortly." Select OK. |

After the reboot, Sign In to your DTV account. Then press the menu button on your remote control. |

Now you are using the DTV Swirl Theme with the menu bar along the right side of the screen. |

If you have a Digital Video Recorder, your menu will include a PVR tab. (PVR stands for Personal Video Recorder, another name for Digital Video Recorder/DVR). This acts as your Vault for recorded programs. Select this tab to access your recording features. |

If you're using the AmiNET 500 DVR, you can now Record Series or Record Program (for a single show). |

The Pad In and Pad Out options let you start the recording earlier than the regular slotted air time and extend the recording time past the stop time to capture the tail end of the shows that run over. |

Edit Series Recording allows you to Pad In/Pad Out recordings of the whole series. Also on this "selected program" menu, you have quick access to Skip Episode, Cancel Series Recording, Add to Favorites and/or request More Info. |

The DVR/PVR Vault tells you how full your hard drive is. It also categorizes and groups recordings. Sort by Title, Date, Channel and whether a program has been Viewed (regular text) or Not Viewed (bold text). |

DTV's High Definition customers have a tab for High Definition (HD) channels. Only HD channels show on the HD tab. |
